The next eight pictures were taken along a dismantled railway. The railway closed many years ago but five poles still remain. They all have two crossarms and a spindle on top of the pole. The insulator in this picture is a large single groove in black composition. Large black pieces are extremely rare and I've only ever seen them on railways and not GPO poles. There is a public footpath running alongside the trackbed and this could explain why the insulator is damaged
